Auf diesem Weg vermag ich zu zeigen, dass es philosophische Praktiken gibt, die aufgrund des um sich greifenden Planungscredos aus der akademischen Landschaft zu verschwinden drohen. Mit Blick auf Ludwig Wittgensteins (1889–1951) Überlegungen zur mathematischen Praxis des Beweisens exemplifiziere ich in einem ersten Schritt die besondere Eigenart, die philosophische (begriffliche) Untersuchungen von naturwissenschaftlichen (sachlichen) Untersuchungen unterscheidet. Die begriffliche Fertigkeit der Philosophin wird ausgehend hiervon als eine wesentlich darstellerische (Formen erinnernde und/oder erfindende) Kompetenz gefasst, welche als solche aber nur Gestalt und Wirksamkeit gewinnen kann, wo die Darstellungsformen nicht bereits im Vorhinein festgeschrieben wurden. Insofern nun jeder Plan eine Geometrie voraussetzt, durch die allein eine hypothetische Angabe der intendierten Arbeitsschritte ermöglicht wird, erschwert das im akademischen Umfeld vorherrschende Planungsselbstverständnis in systematischer Weise ein Philosophieren, das seine Zwecke erst im Zuge einer transparenten Genese ihm eigentümlicher Formen des Denkens und Darstellens zeitigt. Da es mein vorrangiger Anspruch war, die in dieser Schrift geltend gemachten begrifflichen Setzungen in ihrer Eigenform auch widerzuspiegeln, hebt das hier forcierte Denken mit keinen Thesen an, sondern entwickelt aus einer kritischen Abstoßbewegung heraus sukzessive die Merkmale jenes Philosophierens, als dessen Exponent es sich verstanden wissen möchte. Das auf diesem Wege sichtbar werdende Bild der Philosophie ist zwar keineswegs neu, doch ist ihm eigentümlich, dass es stets aufs Neue hervorgebracht, realisiert werden muss, wenn anders man an ihm ein Interesse nimmt. ; In this book I outline a concept of philosophy that offers resistance against the common demand for anticipating its aims, objects and expected insights. This way I am able to demonstrate the existence of philosophical practices which, due to the prevailing credo of planning, are in danger of vanishing from the academic landscape. Using Ludwig Wittgenstein’s (1889–1951) remarks on mathematical proof the characteristic features distinguishing philosophical (conceptual) and scientific (empirical) investigations are exemplified. Philosophical skill will show itself to be a genuine representational competence (of remembering and/or inventing forms), which degenerates whenever we define beforehand our investigation’s design. Given that every plan presuppose a geometry, making possible any hypothetical declaration of the working steps that one is inclined to take, the predominant habit of anticipation systematically bedevils any philosophizing which brings about its aim by way of transparently developing its peculiar form of representation. It was important to me also to reflect in its own representational form the conceptive content put forward in this study. Hence, the forced thinking will not start with a hypothesis but gradually evolves, by critically distancing itself from established academic tasks, those features of doing philosophy it thereby promotes. The picture of philosophy becoming visible this way is, in fact, not new; yet, strangely enough, it has to be newly created, realized, whenever we take any interest in what we can see therein.
